Wristcutters

Friday night was a free showing of Wristcutters at SUNY Page Hall, as part of the Writer's Institute visit of Etgar Keret on Monday. He wrote the short story "Kneller's Happy Campers" on which this movie was based.

It is a dark comedy that is set in a place that people who have committed suicide end up - Hell? No one can smile, (but otherwise it doesn't really look that much different) It was funny in parts, kind of poignant in parts, and I for one liked the way it ended, even if real life doesn't always wrap up so nicely.
